Nursing Admission Test Date

The entrance exam is very important. You need to prepare well to get a good score.

  • Test Date: February 27, 2026 (Friday)
  • Exam Time: 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM
  • Total Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
  • Exam Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)

The B.Sc and Diploma exams happen at the same time. Ensure you arrive at your center early.

Application Eligibility

There are strict rules for eligibility. Read these carefully before you apply.

General Rules:

  • You must be a permanent citizen of Bangladesh.
  • SSC Pass Year: 2021, 2022, or 2023.
  • HSC Pass Year: 2023, 2024, or 2025.
  • The gap between SSC and HSC cannot be more than 3 years.

B.Sc in Nursing (4 Years):

  • Group: Must be from the Science group.
  • Total GPA: Minimum 6.50 (SSC + HSC).
  • Individual GPA: Minimum 3.00 in both SSC and HSC.
  • Biology: Minimum 2.50 GPA in HSC Biology.

Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery (3 Years):

  • Group: Any group (Science, Arts, or Commerce) can apply.
  • Total GPA: Minimum 6.00 (SSC + HSC).
  • Individual GPA: Minimum 2.50 in both SSC and HSC.

Diploma in Midwifery (3 Years):

  • Gender: Only female students can apply.
  • GPA: Same as Diploma Nursing (Total 6.00).

Gender and Quota Rules:

  • Government Colleges: 15% of seats are for male students in B.Sc and Diploma Nursing.
  • Private Colleges: Up to 20% of seats are for male students.
  • Midwifery: Only for females.
  • Special Quotas: 2% for Freedom Fighter children and 1% for ethnic minorities.

How to Apply?

The application process is fully online. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the website: bnmc.teletalk.com.bd.
  2. Click on the “Apply Now” button for the 2025-2026 session.
  3. Select your course (B.Sc or Diploma).
  4. Enter your personal details (Name, Address, Mobile).
  5. Provide your SSC and HSC information (Roll, Reg, Year, Board).
  6. Upload a clear photo (300×300 pixels, max 100 KB).
  7. Upload your signature (300×80 pixels, max 60 KB).
  8. Pick your preferred exam center.
  9. Submit the form and save your User ID.

Payment Instruction

You can only pay using a Teletalk Prepaid SIM. No other payment method is accepted.

Step 1: Send an SMS: BNMC <space> User ID to 16222.

Example: BNMC ABCDEF send to 16222.

Step 2: You will get a PIN and your name. Send a second SMS:

BNMC <space> YES <space> PIN to 16222.

Example: BNMC YES 123456 send to 16222.

You will receive a Password. Keep it safe. You need it to download the Nursing Admit Card.

Nursing Admit Card Download

The Nursing Admit Card will be ready on February 22, 2026.

  1. Go to bnmc.teletalk.com.bd.
  2. Login with your User ID and Password.
  3. Download the admit card.
  4. Print it in color on A4 paper.
  5. Bring it to the exam hall along with a photo ID.

Marks Distribution

The merit list is based on 150 marks.

  • SSC Result: 25 Marks (GPA × 5).
  • HSC Result: 25 Marks (GPA × 5).
  • Written Exam: 100 Marks (MCQ).

B.Sc Nursing Subjects:

  • Bangla (15), English (20), Math (10).
  • Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) (40).
  • General Knowledge (15).

Diploma Nursing/Midwifery Subjects:

  • Bangla (20), English (20), General Math (10).
  • General Science (30), General Knowledge (20).

Pass Mark: You must get at least 40 marks in the MCQ test to pass.

Nursing Admission Result

The Nursing Admission Result will be published in early March 2026.

  • Check results on bnmc.gov.bd or bnmc.teletalk.com.bd.
  • You will receive an SMS if you are selected.
  • The merit list shows your rank and the college you got.
  • If your marks are tied, your HSC GPA will be used to rank you.
